Built for modern installations, this Loox5 eco driver features a practical switching function for seamless control from a single switch connection—ideal for clean, clutter-free setups.
With a mains voltage of 220–240 V (50–60 Hz), the driver converts power to a stable 24 V DC output for LED lighting only. It’s rated for an adjustable 0–40 W load, with a reliable efficiency of 86% at 230 V full load. Even when idle, it has a low 0.50 W no-load power consumption, helping keep running costs under control.
The Loox5 Eco Driver w Sckt is engineered for real-world conditions, operating in -25–45 °C ambient temperatures. Safety and longevity are also covered thanks to overload protection and the Hafele Lifetime Guarantee of 7 years.
Measuring 188 x 57 x 16 mm, it offers flexible installation options including glue fixing and screw fixing. It connects via 4 x sockets (Loox5 2-pin 24 V) and includes an input for 1 x socket (Loox switch). Please note: Loox mains leads must be ordered separately (e.g. 833.89.000).

Can I use this LED driver with non Loox LED lights?
This unit is designed for LED applications only. It is intended to work with 24 V consumer products that use the Loox plug system. For best results, check that your LED fittings and connectors are compatible with Loox 24 V connections.
Does the driver include a mains lead, or do I need to order one separately?
You will need to order the Loox mains lead separately. The product includes the fixings, but the mains connecting cable is not supplied. A common example is 833.89.000.
What does the switching function do?
The driver supports a single switch connection (one control input). This means you can turn your 24 V LED load on or off using a compatible Loox switch, while the driver handles the controlled 24 V output.
What output and maximum wattage can it supply?
Output is 24 V DC and the driver is suitable for LED loads up to 40 W. Make sure the total wattage of the connected LEDs stays within this limit for reliable operation.
Is it suitable for installation in warm or cold environments?
