Lid Stay, Adjustable, Automatic Opening, K12 (Part No. 373.83.440) is a high-performance cabinet accessory designed to help your wooden lift-up flaps open smoothly and hold reliably in position. Ideal for modern kitchen, living, and commercial cabinetry, this 60N spring force lid stay provides controlled support for a clean, user-friendly operation—every time.

Area of application: This lid stay is made for front panels and stay flaps made from wood or for those with an aluminium frame. Built from steel with a zinc alloy cylinder, it combines durability with dependable performance. The grey silver finish and silver grey cover colour help the stay blend neatly into most cabinet designs.

With an opening angle of 90°, it supports access to the cabinet interior while keeping the flap comfortably positioned. It suits cabinet heights of 200–600 mm and lid weights of up to 13.5 kg (based on sample measurements table). For fine-tuning after installation, the stay includes an adjustment facility with ±3 mm travel adjustment using the adjusting wheel.

Installation is straightforward: screw fixing into 32 mm series drilled holes using the supplied mounting brackets and fixings. Please note: for threshold values, use the stronger version and trial mounting is recommended.

Supplied with 1x gas spring lid stay, 1x screw fixing door lid bracket, 1x recess mounted cabinet side bracket, and fixings, this is a smart choice for upgrading cabinet lifting action with confidence.
