The Ixconnect SC 8/25 spreading connector is patented technology designed in house by Häfele which is ideal for small furniture solutions.
One-piece connector
For permanent furniture construction, ideal for small furniture items
Quick and easy, tool-free installation - simply plug in and push the panels together
Inserts into Ø 8 mm standard drill hole
For panel thickness min. 15 mm
Concealed installation
Area of application
For concealed, non-removable cabinet connections in small furniture and drawers, for use in MDF and chipboard, can also be used in combination with wooden dowels
Operating principle
By pressing the two furniture components together both ends of the connector spread into the hole, then by lightly hitting the furniture panels the two parts of the connector are pushed over each other and spread out
