Made to very exacting standards the quality of this letter plate is far ahead of most manufacturers. Designed for timber and composite doors, it is tested to 50,000 cycles and all finishes are tested to 480 hours salt spray. The flaps are sprung loaded and operate to 180 degrees - meaning they won't snap off, and can easily accommodate full A4 sized envelopes.

To ensure maximum resistance to the weather, these letter plates should ideally be fitted to a new, purpose-cut aperture in the door. This ensures that the door has as tight a fit as possible around the sleeve to make it impervious to the weather. The item can be retrofitted to existing holes, however, if the hole is too large or oddly sized, this can impact on its usually excellent weather-proofing.
