Available below in -
Powder coat finish - A durable corrosion resistant finish providing a tougher coating- suitable for external use.
External Beeswax finish - Manufactured from an anti-corrosive beeswax which is salt tested to 480 hours. It has a matt richness and similarly to our standard beeswax the depth of colour ranges from blue to deep red ochre.
Matt Black – From the Anvil’s matt black finish has a distinct contemporary feel. It looks great in ultra-modern interiors, but this versatile finish is timeless and will create a statement in traditional or more rustic settings too. The matt black finish is applied to a base material of solid steel and then baked in a high temperature oven, resulting in a subtle black patina that emphasises the product’s clean silhouette.
Pewter Patina - A beautiful applied pewter finish giving excellent anti-corrosion properties- suitable for external use.
Antique Pewter - The unique Antique Pewter finish is a complicated finishing process which is applied to a solid brass base metal. This gives unmatched excellent anti-corrosion properties. It is a close match to our Pewter Patina finish but has a smoother, less 'hand forged' feel.
Aged Bronze - All of the From the Anvil Aged Bronze products are manufactured from genuine, unpolished solid bronze. Over time and through use the solid bronze will slowly lighten in colour resulting in a beautiful subtle patine appearance, reminiscent of classical architectural fittings and statues.
Polished Bronze - Manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper, this finish can be described as a ‘living finish’ that adapts to its surroundings. This finish is firstly aged and then re-polished, which creates a subtle contrast between the lighter surface areas and the darker detailed areas of each product.
Polished Nickel - A highly polished finish with a nickel plating applied to solid brass which is salt tested to 480 hours. Similar to a polished chrome finish but with much warmer tones.
Polished Chrome - A highly polished finish that reflects like a mirror. A base metal of solid brass with quality chrome plating is applied to its surface which is salt tested to 480 hours.
Satin Chrome - A highly polished finish that is brushed with a unidirectional finish to give the satin look. Created from a base metal of either solid brass or steel which then has a quality chrome plating process applied to its surface.
Un-lacquered Polished Brass - From the Anvil's Polished Brass products come un-lacquered for authenticity. The finish may be maintained with Brasso or left to acquire a darker and more aged patina
Satin Stainless Steel - Is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. This finish is low sheen and offers a frosted, matt look. For complementary products, we recommend our Satin Chrome finish.
Polished Stainless Steel - Is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. This finish is very versatile, with a high sheen appearance that works well with warm tones and cool, contemporary settings alike. For complementary products, we recommend our Polished Chrome finish.
